The City Corporation recently published an open tender opportunity, inviting applicants to propose how they could retain and refurbish the buildings on the London Wall West site. The team are currently considering these proposals, and an update will be communicated once the process is complete.

The City of London Corporation are consulting on plans to regenerate the London Wall West site, which comprises the current home of the Museum of London and Bastion House (140-150 London Wall).

Through its development, the site provides an opportunity to create a world-class destination that attracts major businesses. In doing so, the project would help contribute to the funding required for major projects like the Museum of London’s move to West Smithfield and deliver wider cultural, community, and economic investment, as well as significant public realm improvements.

This website has been developed to allow local people and key stakeholders to stay up to date with the emerging proposals and provide the team with their feedback. You can see our updated proposals for the site detailed in the ‘Proposals’ page of this website. We have also taken the unprecedented step of releasing a Whole Life Carbon Assessment of the proposals.
