London Wall West

The City of London Corporation has now submitted a full planning application to redevelop the London Wall West site, which comprises the current home of the Museum of London and Bastion House (140 – 150 London Wall), as well as two listed building consent applications for The Barbican and Ironmongers’ Hall.

These submissions follow over two years of consultation with the local community. Thank you to everyone who got involved and provided feedback on the proposals.

The applications have now been validated by the City of London Corporation’s Environment Department and can be found on the City’s website by searching the following numbers:

The applicant will be displaying hard copies of the application documentation and a physical 3D model of the scheme at the London Centre (3 Aldermanbury, London, EC2V 7HH) from Tuesday 5th December 2023 – Wednesday 31st January 2024 (note: the London Centre is closed on a Monday).  A virtual fly through of the scheme will be shown on a monitor in the London Centre from 12 December 2023.  Members of the applicant’s team will attend the London Centre on Wednesday 13 December 2023 4pm – 8pm and 11 January 2024 4pm – 8pm should members of the public wish to ask the applicant any questions about the proposed development.
